ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • An interior architecture/interior design degree, or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to explain a design idea and evolution of a concept
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team – building rapport and creating positive relationships
  • Ability to understand what is required to deliver successful design solutions for large scale developments
  • Proven experience delivering complex projects through RIBA stage 0-6 with the ability to advise others how to approach similar projects.
  • Ability to provide professional guidance to design and construction teams
  • Strong client care skills
  • Ability to manage your own time/workload and that of others.
  • Excellent product knowledge within FF&E and a maximalist design style
  • Ability to work autonomously when required, with the right support
  • Excellent time management skills of own workload and that of junior support
  • Strong 3d modelling skills (Revit would be an advantage)
  • Strong knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Enscape, Lumion and excel skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Ability to generate scope of service with associated fee proposal with support
  • Ability to conduct formalised project design reviews alongside senior team members
  • Ability to source unique pieces for artwork and dressing packages
  • Commercial/private sector experience is beneficial
