Description

The Designers Group is currently seeking an Interior Designer to join our office in Ontario, Canada. We are looking for a talented individual with experience working on various building types across all project stages.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process from concept development to final execution for commerical projects.
  • Manage client relationships and communications.
  • Collaborate with and support project team members, including senior designers, technical, and management staff.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project execution aligns with the design vision.
  • Conduct site visits, oversee project progress, and document developments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and furnishings to deliver innovative design solutions.
  • Coordinate procurement, budgeting, and scheduling to maintain project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project website programs.
  • Previous work experience in healthcare, commerical residential, and other design typologies.
  • Strong knowledge of space planning, color theory, and materials.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Candidate to be based in Florida and able to drive to job sites.

Schedule:

  • Flexible hours- Monday to Friday (40-hr work week)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
