QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
· Registered Interior Designer certification preferred
· A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience at the Designer level in the luxury residential and/or hospitality field or above and 5-7 years overall professional experience within an established interior design firm
· Extensive knowledge and use of state and local codes and ADA requirements
· Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp + Layout, Adobe Creative Suite, and standard office programs
· Knowledge and use of brands represented by Urbanspace Interiors Showroom in past projects
· Self-starter that is willing to take ownership of projects & organizational opportunities
· Perform well in environment that values leadership, efficiency, dependability, and organization
· Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
· Superior organization skills and the ability to effectively multi-task
· Problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong eye for detail

ROLE
Urbanspace Interiors is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Designer to join our fast-paced team. This dynamic role requires you to expertly manage multiple luxury residential and hospitality design projects from conception through installation, working both independently and in collaboration with our Principal and other Designers. You’ll be a key player in ahigh-pressure environment where you will be responsible for client communication, vendor management, and the full scope of design production. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels at problem-solving and can take ownership of projects. Your ability to advocate for yourself and your priorities will be crucial to your success. RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead multiple interior design projects and assistant Principal Designer on large-scale projects through all phases of the design process, including initial programming & space planning through budget creation, construction documents, FF&E selection, product procurement, scheduling and installation
· Collaborate with Principal and Senior Designers and coordinate with other team members throughout project
· Manage and work with project vendors and various trades
· Act as the liaison and communicate directly with clients to provide exemplary customer service from the project’s initial programming to final installation
· Production and maintenance of 2D drawings, 3D models, presentation materials, and bidding, permitting and construction drawing sets
· Work with team members to manage all phases of product procurement
· Assist in marketing and new project acquisition for the interior design branch of Urbanspace Interiors
