Our client is an establishing and growing company based in Singapore and has regional presence in Asia. Their team is a collaboration of talent, energy and experience comprising of interior Designers, Space Planners, Workflow Specialists, Project Managers and Engineers.
Our client offers commercial and specialized interior design and styling to a regional client base. The team works with government agencies, hospitals, laboratories, medical centres, architectural and engineering firms, research facilities as well as private companies throughout Asia. They provide a wide range solution of design and space planning, optimization of medical and research workflow, guidance on safety and regulatory standards as well as setting up of cost effective and sustainable medical, commercial and laboratory complexes. They also undertake modular pre-fabricated systems constructions, bespoke commercial projects and work spaces fit-outs.
They are now looking for a competent and committed individual to join their team.

JOB SUMMARY:

Our client has a simple but ambitious mission: to develop market-leading specialized space design solutions which delight their clients and enrich their workflow. They are a dynamic and talented team working on exciting and sustainable projects, both locally and in the region. Reporting to the Interior Designer, this role will be an addition to their exciting team as they look to put together the best possible combination of talents to take on the opportunities ahead of them.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Prepare and develop drawings and details for preliminary, construction, and as-built stages using AutoCAD.
• Create schedules and drawing lists for proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Stay updated with the best drafting technologies and software to maintain strong technical competency.
• Produce detailed drawings and technical specifications for elevations, materials, masonry, ironmongery, millwork, carpentry, and fitting-out works, from initial sketches to final outputs.
• Support the design team by clarifying design details to the construction team or subcontractors when required.
• Provide assistance with general and ad-hoc drafting tasks in AutoCAD as needed.
• Support general drafting tasks and produce drawings from SketchUp files.
• Possess knowledge of M&E/MEP drafting and ISO 9001 standards will be considered an advantage.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant certification in Interior Design, Architecture, M&E, or a related field with minimum 2 to 5 years of drafting experience, preferably with a strong background in interior construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and construction CAD systems (e.g., CP 83 standard);
• Proficient in SketchUp and M&E design will be an advantage.
• Strong teamwork orientation with a proactive, positive attitude.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and systematic in documentation and workflow.
