JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interior Joinery Worker to join our fit-out team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing custom joinery for high-end interior spaces, including residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and a high level of discretion, particularly when working in private residences or sensitive environments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Trade certification or diploma in Joinery, Carpentry, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior joinery work, preferably in fit-out projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of timber, veneers, laminates, and other joinery materials.
• Excellent craftsmanship and keen eye for detail and finish.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing site conditions.
• Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality, particularly in high-end residential or commercial settings.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and install heavy joinery items.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites if required.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Manufacture and assemble joinery components such as cabinetry, wall panels, doors, wardrobes, shelving, counters, and bespoke furniture.
• Carry out accurate on-site installation of joinery elements according to the approved design and layout.
• Ensure all work meets the required quality standards in terms of finish, fit, and durability.
• Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Work closely with supervisors, designers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, both in workshop and on-site.
• Exercise a high degree of discretion and professionalism when working in occupied spaces, luxury environments, or client homes.
• Respect client privacy, project confidentiality, and company protocols at all times.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures on and off site.
