Job Description We are seeking a Specialized Design Engineer to support vehicle programs from model years 2026 to 2033 in the development of interior and electrical components. The role involves executing high-quality design solutions using Siemens NX and Teamcenter, contributing to vehicle integration, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop interior components (garnish trim, overhead systems, cargo flooring, acoustics). Create and validate electrical components (wiring harnesses, modules, brackets). Deliver 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with GD&T specifications. Participate in design reviews, peer reviews, and engineering audits. Collaborate with design release engineers and product development teams. Maintain documentation accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Report progress and technical needs to the design leadership team. Support integration assessments and change management processes. Qualifications Junior Design Engineer (Entry-Level): 1 to 4 years of experience in design engineering. Proficiency in Siemens NX and SAE wiring design fundamentals. Strong English communication skills. Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design preferred. Senior Design Engineer: 5+ years of experience in automotive product design. Advanced Siemens NX skills including electrical routing. Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Strong English communication skills. Experience with Altair SimSolid and CAE principles. Deliverables: CAD models and drawings. Design presentations and analysis reports. Wiring diagrams and harness documentation. Monthly progress reports and compliance matrices.
