THE ROLE: INTERMEDIATE TAXATION ACCOUNTANT

We are on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Taxation Accountant to join our dedicated team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, you will play a vital role in managing the compliance needs of a diverse portfolio of International clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and lodge income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
• Handle Business Activity Statements (BAS), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), and payroll tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
• Stay up to date with evolving tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct research to address client-specific tax queries and complex tax issues.
• Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Reconcile tax balances and support tax provisions for financial reporting.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support and mentor junior accountants with technical tax queries.
