Our Melbourne Business Advisory team has an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant to join a close-knit, high-performing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for running jobs end to end. As an Intermediate Accountant you will be responsible for: * Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts * Prepare full set of accounts, tax checklists and cash-flow statements * BAS, GST and FBT returns * Construct and maintain working papers * Reconcile client accounts * Liaise with clients and external stakeholders * Work on various consulting assignments and projects as required Our ideal new team member has: * A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent degree * Working towards your CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification * Minimum 1.5 years’ experience in accounting, ideally within public practice * Experience working with medium to large businesses and multi-entity structures * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Motivation to grow professionally and contribute to team development * A genuine interest in mentoring and upskilling junior team members * Ability to develop trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues Salary range: 77,000 – 82,499 AUD Annual If this sounds like you, and you’re keen to join a team where you are valued and your career is a priority, reach out for more information or apply now.
