Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 (Based on Experience & Registration)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • M.Arch or equivalent degree.
  • Registered Architect or Intern Architect (AIBC) in good standing, or eligible.
  • 5–9 years of professional experience in an architecture practice.
  • Proficiency in Revit; additional 3D or visualization tools an asset.
  • Experience working on institutional, civic, cultural, or mixed-use projects.
  • Strong understanding of BC Building Code and local approvals processes.
  • Experience working through schematic design through construction documents
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for impactful, community-oriented design.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an Intermediate Architect to contribute across multiple sectors and project phases. You’ll work closely with senior project leaders, advancing design and technical solutions while collaborating with clients, consultants, and colleagues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in design development, technical documentation, and coordination across a range of projects.
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, and permit packages.
  • Support project delivery through consultant coordination and client communication.
  • Attend meetings, contribute to problem-solving, and assist with construction-phase review.
  • Ensure compliance with BC codes, bylaws, and best practices.
  • Collaborate on internal design reviews and contribute to team discussions.
  • Mentor and support junior staff while building strong team culture.
