TECHNICAL

  • Ability to design new or adapt existing systems/applications taking into account design alternatives, business requirements, and cost, resource and time constraints;
  • Convert business requirements into technical specifications to implement solutions, tools, and business processes;
  • Ability to create and or modify a sequence of computer instructions in order to compile, link, build and test computer executables that meet design requirements within established guidelines;
  • A proven track record to quickly and adeptly acquire knowledge of information technology architectures including: integration and application software, interoperability standards, database, subsystem components and software.

Reporting to the Collaboration & Client Services department at eHealth Saskatchewan, we’re seeking a talented and driven Business Analyst who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about making a difference. Every day brings something new. Your core focus will be documenting business processes, gathering and refining requirements, and creating clear, actionable specifications. You’ll also play a key role in helping our health system partners understand and optimize the services we provide.

The Collaboration & Client Services space—especially in areas like Print Management, ServiceNow, and the Enterprise Contact Center—is a fast-paced, evolving environment where technology meets service delivery in powerful ways. You’ll work closely with customers, vendors, and leadership to support strategic roadmaps and implement solutions that enhance healthcare across the province. Key opportunities for this role include:

TYPICAL DAILY DUTIES

  • Liaise with end users, customers, third party service providers and business partners;
  • Establish, facilitate, support and nurture a network of “Super users and/or SME’s”, who will assist in supporting eHealth applications within their local environments;
  • Develop and evaluate information requirements of senior management through leadership and use of business teams;
  • Document and assess requirements of business areas and support options development and project workplan documentation;
  • Provide one-on-one or small group application training;
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of system training materials and ensure that user documentation is maintained;
  • Identify opportunities where business processes can be enhanced through the implementation of technology or by other techniques;
  • Gather and document requirements for upgrades and enhancements;
  • Participate and provide expertise in projects as needed to ensure that services are smoothly transitioned into Support Services;
  • Participate in a project manager role for small to medium internal projects.
