QUALIFICATIONS:

• Civil Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent
• 3+ Years of experience with Civil 3D
• 5+ Years of relevant design experience relating to earthworks and drainage design
• Survey experience would be considered an asset
• Use of and understanding of various coordinate systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively on multiple concurrent projects

• Produce existing grade models from provided survey and lidar information
• Design and model finished grading surfaces with minimal assistance including roads and rails using corridors in Civil 3D
• Provide creative solutions for grading, drainage, road, and rail designs
• Produce Material Take Offs of all earthworks, undergrounds, rail, and other materials
• Produce Issued for Construction drawing packages
• Follow checking procedures as provided by Tri Innovations
• Checking of models and drawings by other designers
• Manage time and tasks within allotted timelines and budgets
