Job Description We are currently recruiting Intermediate Cost Managers to join our busy and expanding Infrastructure business, supporting our clients across a range on prestigious infrastructure projects. Key Duties: Establishing friendly, professional and appropriate relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties involved in the projects and programmes we support. Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies. Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget. Pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow, and ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner. Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering. Managing contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice. Driving improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets. Proactively providing sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders. Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed. Leading people and commissions as needed. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. Qualifications You will be expected to be numerate and computer literate, highly competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and contract administration software Familiar and have experience of both pre and post contract roles, including cost planning, procurement, contract formation, post contract cost control, contract administration, value management / engineering, risk management and final accounts Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience Experience in large, civil engineering projects in the rail, water or aviation sectors. We will also consider candidates who have experience on other large, Civil Engineering infrastructure projects. Working knowledge of the NEC form of Contract You must be chartered via RICS or SCSI Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence at senior levels and think strategically Hold the right to work in Ireland & UK.
