Description

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Distribution Engineer with 4 to 6 years of proven engineering experience in electrical distribution systems. This role includes detailed design responsibilities, technical coordination, and quality assurance support for utility-scale distribution projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in utility or distribution engineering
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in a Canadian province (e.g., APEGS or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of distribution system components and design principles

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Proficient in design and modeling software such as CYME, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, including the Canadian Electrical Code and utility standards
  • Ability to manage workload across multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
