To meet our growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our teams located in any of our offices in Alberta, Ontario and Atlantic provinces.
As part of our dynamic and growing Process and Energy Electrical Group, you will work on a variety of assigned medium and large sized projects including gas compression, gas processing facilities, emerging energy transition projects. Your responsibilities can include anything from design basis, equipment selection, detailed design and field implementation at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities
  • Champion WSP Project procedures across all projects.
  • Execute the design and delivery of complex electrical engineering projects.
  • Create innovative concepts for execution.
  • Drive planning, scheduling, and cost control activities.
  • Review and stamp drawings, ensuring compliance with design codes.
  • Define and establish project scopes.
  • Navigate scope change requests and evaluate trends.
  • Master computer simulation programs and engineering spreadsheets.
  • Mentor and oversee design engineering staff.
  • Collaborate with various disciplines to manage cost and schedule impacts.
