We’re coming off a strong year and are setting even higher ambitions for the future. To help us reach the next level, we’re looking for an Intermediate Front-End Developer to join our team.
As an Intermediate Front-End Developer at Ambyint, you will report to the Software Development Lead and play a key role in designing and building scalable, cloud-native solutions that solve complex challenges in the oil and gas industry. You’ll work with modern technologies, mentor junior developers, and push the boundaries of what’s possible with cloud, AI, and IoT. We’re especially looking for someone who cares deeply about fostering a strong team culture, supporting team members, and driving meaningful impact for our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in taking a feature from concept to delivery and support.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and NextJS (including server-side rendering).
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and how to handle data fetching in front-end applications.
• Exposure to cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS) and back-end APIs.
• Experience with non-relational data stores such as MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Experience with SQL based database systems such as SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT data pipelines and core data warehouse concepts
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience (or a combination of education and experience).

• Develop and maintain front-end components of our cloud-native platform, ensuring responsive, high-quality user experiences.
• Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams (e.g., Data Science, Product, DevOps) to translate design ideas into user-friendly features.
• Enhance and optimize front-end code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, NextJS) and other modern technologies.
• Contribute to technical documentation and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, attending stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Learn from and be mentored by experienced team members, sharing your insights and growing your skills.
• Experiment with new front-end technologies, prototype quickly, and iterate based on feedback.
