Working Schedule: 9 AM - 5PM EST
Location: Remote with occasional in-person work in our co-working space in downtown Toronto.
Salary: $80K - $100K USD

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE:

FinChat, a leading provider of generative AI for finance, is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join our Development team, specifically to focus on our enterprise technologies. Our enterprise offerings currently consist of an embedded white-labeled chat interface, and an API.
Help scale our enterprise offering and push FinChat towards becoming a leader in the FinTech space. Enhance our AI tools and our API architecture to build a world class Financial Copilot. Your expertise will contribute to building generative AI solutions for our customers using our infrastructure.
Onboard/maintain relationships with our enterprise partners, handling custom integrations/requests from these customers.
The candidate will experience working in a unique fast-growing startup at the forefront of technology and finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build a best in class Enterprise AI Solution
• Work to scale up/optimize/innovate on our FinChat Enterprise product (a white-labeled AI Chat experience for our Enterprise partners), our Copilot API and our AI tools on FinChat.io.
• Research the latest AI tools/technology and implement them to improve this product.
• Build/test/ideate on new features from our AI and Enterprise roadmap.
• Explore/Research and Innovate
• Research the latest and greatest technologies in AI, Web Development, Databases and more. Help our team stay ahead of the pack by considering what new technologies will help our team/product as we grow.
• Develop our AI Infrastructure with our team
• Test/experiment with different AI models
• Enhance speed/performance of our AI tools
• Build new functionality and features for all our AI products
• Support and Maintain our products
• Handle bug requests from enterprise customers
• Maintain and grow our enterprise architecture

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

• 3+ years of experience in an engineering or development role.
• Proven experience or strong interest in investing/finance. Our platform is built by investors, for investors, so a solid understanding of investment concepts is essential, especially when working with advanced data and financial concepts.
• Experience or interest in AI technologies, specifically Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and effective communication.
• A passion for working in a fast-growing, unique startup environment.
• Must be based in Canada.
