We are seeking a talented Fullstack Engineer to join an advanced AI Engineering team developing customizable self-hosted AI solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of an AI-driven development platform by building and maintaining robust backend and frontend systems using Ruby, Python, and Vue.js. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy features that bring scalable AI capabilities to enterprise customers. Accountabilities Develop and enhance features across the stack using Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, and Python to deliver scalable, high-performance software. Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services supporting AI-powered functionalities. Participate in architectural design, ensuring system scalability, maintainability, and performance. Collaborate with distributed product, UX, and engineering teams in an asynchronous, global environment. Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain a high-quality codebase. Support debugging, bug fixing, and performance optimization efforts across production environments. Drive innovation by exploring LLM integrations, data processing enhancements, and new AI-based product features. Proven fullstack development experience with Ruby (50%), JavaScript/Vue.js (30%), and Python (20%). Strong understanding of REST or GraphQL API design, scalability, and best practices. Solid experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries. Background in integrating or evaluating LLMs, generative AI tools, or machine learning workflows. Hands-on experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in an asynchronous, remote team culture. A performance- and impact-driven mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
