We’re currently seeking a intermediate materials technician to join us for an approximately 8-10-month term, with the potential to become permanent for the right individual.
The Opportunity:
As part of our impressive team of engineers and technologists, you’ll have the opportunity to work both in the field and the lab, performing monitoring and testing under the guidance of our technical services supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform field and laboratory tests on asphalt, concrete, soil, and aggregate.
  • Monitor and conduct testing for construction Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA).
  • Provide assistance in foundation construction activities.
  • Monitor the placement and compaction of fill materials.
  • Conduct monitoring and testing of concrete.
  • Compile comprehensive field and laboratory reports.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site.

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years experience as a Materials Field Technician.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Willingness to work up to 12 hours a day, including weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Availability for out-of-town projects.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety excellence.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with CCIL certification, construction experience, and safety tickets.
