Based in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, or Edmonton, you’ll contribute to projects that protect communities, support sustainable development, and advance water treatment innovation across Western Canada. #GlobalMining -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOUR IMPACT * Deliver water and wastewater treatment projects that support industrial, mining, and municipal clients across Western Canada. * Lead or support project management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards. * Develop strong working relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary WSP teams. * Prepare high‑quality technical reports, specifications, process schematics, and layout drawings. * Perform process analysis and design including technology selection, equipment sizing, hydraulic analysis, mass balances, modeling, and 3D layouts. * Review and enhance technical work completed by junior engineers, ensuring accuracy and consistency. * Mentor and support junior colleagues through hands‑on training and knowledge sharing. * Balance multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to evolving schedules and priorities. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE SKILLS THAT SET YOU APART * Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering with registration as a P.Eng. in Canada. * 5–10 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment projects. * Proven experience in process modeling, technology selection, and equipment specification. * Working knowledge of HYSYS/HYSIM, OLI, or METSIM (considered an asset). * Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and stakeholder coordination skills. * Experience with project management, proposal development, and engineering cost estimates. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams. * Field, construction, and commissioning experience considered an asset; valid driver’s license required. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHY CHOOSE WSP?
