  • Execute manual tests to validate system functionality, integration, performance, and security according to defined quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues throughout the project life cycle.
  • Work closely with development, support, and implementation teams to ensure timely resolution of identified defects.

Quality Assurance Processes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and maintain QA best practices and testing methodologies for EAM.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of quality assurance policies and procedures specific to asset management operations and technology.
  • Participate in peer reviews of test plans to ensure completeness and testability.
  • Document and communicate test results, quality metrics, and overall system readiness to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and new testing tools or techniques to enhance QA effectiveness in the EAM domain.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and regulations impacting enterprise asset management and QA practices.
  • Provide recommendations to refine asset management workflows and support change management initiatives.
  • Deliver training and guidance to junior QA staff and support knowledge sharing across the team.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA documentation, including test plans, defect logs, and summary reports.
  • Track and report key quality metrics, such as defect density, test coverage, and test execution progress, to project managers and leadership.
  • Create internal documentation or contribute to training materials as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, preferably within the enterprise asset management sector or related enterprise software domains.
  • Solid understanding of EAM systems (such as IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, Infor EAM, or similar platforms) and relevant business processes.
  • Proficiency in software testing methodologies, including system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

  • Experience with SQL queries, data validation techniques.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based EAM solutions as well as desktop and mobile applications.
  • Understanding of asset lifecycle management, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to asset-intensive industries (e.g., utilities, manufacturing, transportation).
  • Previous experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
