Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Intermediate Scaffolders are important members of the GHS Solutions team, erecting scaffolds to meet customer requirements, in accordance with Australian Standards. All members of the team have a shared responsibility in keeping themselves and all employees safe from harm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Erection and dismantle of scaffolding in a timely manner as instructed and to Australian Standards.
  • Assist to prepare and plan for scaffolding activities.
  • Carrying out Scaffold Inspection Checklists for each job
  • Maintaining accurate documentation associated with each job
  • To act with integrity, honesty and ethically at all times.
  • Proactively engages to create a safer workplace.

ROLE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

  • Experience with Tube & Fit highly regarded
  • Good communications skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Competent in the erection and dismantle of scaffolding.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol tests
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
