Colbourne & Kembel, Architects Inc. (“CKA”) are accepting applications from talented and motivated INTERMEDIATE or SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGISTS to become an integral part of our team, with a unique opportunity to grow into a senior management position.
CKA is a prominent regional architectural firm based in Kingston, and we have won numerous heritage and sustainable design awards. Our projects encompass all building types, and we have an extensive list of regular clients including school boards, municipal, provincial, and federal government.

The intent of this position is to train a passionate and talented technologist to grow into a role as a Senior Production Manager & Construction Manager in our firm. The position will include managing production staff, coordinating consultants, producing architectural drawings in Revit, 3D modelling, specifications, and Tender/Construction Administration.

Experience Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology
  • Proficiency in REVIT in both designs and construction documents
  • 3D modelling software expertise
  • Solid understanding of building codes and regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in design documentation
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in an architect’s office
  • Good working knowledge of the construction industry, including building materials, construction methods & standards

Salary:
$60,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience and skills
