We are currently seeking a Professional Structural Engineer to join our team in North York, Ontario!

SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES:

  • Bachelor of Civil / Structural Engineering from an accredited university & Professional Engineering designation.
  • Problem solving and creativity (comfort with ambiguity is essential)
  • Inquisitive nature; thrives on learning and advancing engineering knowledge
  • Good multitasking and prioritization abilities; comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Great written and verbal English communication skills, and technical writing skills (French is an asset)
  • Good understanding of structural analysis and solid mechanics
  • Working knowledge of the NBCC / OBC (knowledge of the CHBDC is an asset)
  • Working knowledge of building materials, construction techniques and relevant CSA codes
    (particularly: wood, steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed steel, aluminum, FRP. Knowledge of other new / innovative materials is an asset.)
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s License and personal vehicle required.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis and design for new and existing structures
  • Draft structural drawings and write technical reports
  • Carry out site inspections and field reviews
