We have exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our KR team at Housing Delivery System (HDS) project offices in Christchurch. HDS is a Kāinga Ora Homes and Communities initiative; they are changing the approach to how they deliver new homes and developments. If you want to be part of our KR team working as an integrated group, delivering on residential land development projects across New Zealand, then we would like to hear from you. About the role Support and manage the successful delivery of projects as part of our integrated team at HDS, providing your technical expertise on designs, and collaborating with the wider team. HDS is bringing a new way of working on their projects with all teams being brought together at their project office from the Architect to the Contractor and everything in between, to ensure collaboration and coordination across teams and to achieve project time-frames we work to a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday from 8.30am-5pm. About you Qualified with a BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering, or equivalent 7-9 years as a Professional engineer, with New Zealand residential design experience Conversant with relevant NZ Building Codes and statutory requirements, with proven seismic experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Adaptable with a keen eye for detail, excellent planning, organising, and time management skills Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people About us Kirk Roberts Consulting is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing Structural, Geotechnical, Fire, Civil and Environmental Engineering Services, Architecture and Engineering Software to a range of clients across New Zealand, from our offices in Christchurch, Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, Queenstown, and Tauranga.
