Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for an experienced Intermediate Software Developer to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. Please note that this role requires working on-site in Mississauga.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in both front-end and back-end development. In this role, you will design, develop, maintain, and support existing C# and C++ applications, while also contributing to the creation of new web applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with C++ and C#.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
  • Proficiency in SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows OS, multitasking, and inter-process communication.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
  • Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.

Responsibilities:

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:

  • Working in a team atmosphere to develop and implement new products according to market and industry trends.
  • Testing newly developed products to ensure they meet performance and quality standards before being released for mass production.
  • Improving and updating existing product solutions as per the latest industry updates.
  • Working closely with other teams to ensure that the product design is efficient and smooth.
  • Regulatory Compliance on new products before releasing to manufacturing (FCC, CE, ICES-003, UL and CSA standards)
