Arcadis’ Architecture & Urban Planning team has the opportunity to participate in large scale design projects and create interesting living spaces. Our Mexico City Office has been continuously working to improve the quality of life in Latin America, United States and Canada, by developing several architecture projects in Mexico, Guatemala, US and Canada, and more than 7 Master Plans in Guatemala, 2 TOD planning projects in Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro, the San Pedro Sula Urban Master Plan & the prefeasibility study for a Cable Car system in Chapultepec, among others. -- We request that all applicants submit RESUME AND PORTFOLIO (in English) highlighting relevant work experience; please limit PDF files to 10MB. Please note that any of the applications that don’t include a RESUME AND PORTFOLIO will be disregarded -- Role accountabilities: Working with the team of Urban Design and Master Planning in a range of urban design, urban planning and strategic visioning in local and regional projects. Producing key Landscape Architecture documents like guidelines, palettes, standards, etc. Collaborate with the Urban Design Team to generate creative visioning ideas and differentiators directly related to the territorial advantages of the site. Produce high quality 3D renderings or sketches of key visioning ideas in a clear and compelling way to convey key experiences, moments or strategic moves for placemaking projects. Assist in the preparation of overall planning, urban design, and regional planning reports. Assist in writing proposals, conducting research, policies, and guidelines, etc. Preparation of accurate and readable drawings, graphics, maps, and illustrations using CAD, GIS, Adobe Suite and SketchUp. Synthesize and conceptualize diagrams according to urban design and landscape architecture concepts. Developing high-quality & attractive presentations for project deliverables & visioning workshops. Qualifications Completed Bachelor degree of Architecture Spanish Native speaker and full command of the English language. 5+ years of related work experience in urban design and master planning. Experience in large architectural & urban design projects will be beneficial. Exceptional graphic communication skills Proficiency in creating compelling and high-quality 3D renderings or sketches to effectively convey key experiences and spatial concepts. Site analysis experience with a territorial approach, identifying challenges, opportunities & key landscape differentiators. Able to produce design guidelines and material, color & plant palettes. Ability to deliver on time challenging projects and deadlines. Fluent in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (Illustrator, In-Design and Photoshop) and SketchUp Professional experience in GIS would be beneficial. Ability to work independently and thrive in a creative, collaborative environment. Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
