Intermittent Researcher 3, Office of Technical Services, PN 20072207 What You Will Do: You will utilize ODOT data collection vehicles to travel throughout the state to collect pavement surface characteristic data and ride quality data. You will work with other departmental units, outside agencies and consultants to provide data collection and reporting. You will support construction oversight by collecting and analyzing road profile data to verify contractor compliance with smoothness specifications. You will serve as a technical resource by responding to internal and external data requests and preparing reports and presentations. Job Skills: Research Valid Driver’s License required. Travels throughout the state approximately 90%25 of the time with most of the trips requiring overnight stays. Nightwork up to 10%25. This position is 1000 hours maximum.
