What to Expect / A Day in the Life: You’ll be part of a close-knit, highly skilled team working in our Topeka manufacturing facility. Expect an easy-paced structured environment where safety and quality come first. You’ll collaborate daily with the accounting team to meet production and project goals and to get a real-world grasp on the accounting world. This is a full-time, onsite role, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM You’ll assist with account reconciliation, cash disbursement postings, prepare regular updates of account reconciliations, and much more. Thrive in a manufacturing or technical environment. Are reliable, detail-oriented, and take pride in high-quality work. Communicate effectively and work well on a team. Must be in commutable distance to Topeka, Kansas, United States Bring experience in: Microsoft Suite Products (Excel, Word, Teams) Communication and Problem Solving Organizing and Prioritization Bonus points if you have SAP Experience Must be currently attending a university seeking an accounting degree or related field Physical Demands: Sit for extended periods of time. Read computer screens and mail, email, talk on the phone. Ability to unpack and move supplies up to 50 pounds. Work Environment: Professional and deadline-oriented environment. Limited exposure to manufacturing environment which includes heat in the summer and cold in the winter, dust and moving mechanical parts. Interaction with staff.
