Shift: Monday-Friday Full time 8am-5pm Job Location: Altamonte Springs, FL The role you will contribute: Responsible for gaining meaningful insight into operations and administration during a 10- to 12-week internship. This position observes organizational dynamics, participates in meetings, and completes project assignments. Additionally, this role rotates through core departments such as Hospital Operations, Finance, Clinical Leadership, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, and Mission/Ministry. In addition, this position engages in hands-on projects and shadowing opportunities within these departments. Additionally, this role attends leadership meetings to understand key organizational decisions and network with senior leaders. This position helps interns define their future career paths through these experiences. The value you will bring to the team: · Builds relationships by participating in department meetings and observing team role models. · Gains knowledge of core processes and develops working knowledge of industry terminology. · Rotates through core departments such as Hospital Operations, Finance, Clinical Leadership, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, and Mission/Ministry. · Engages in hands-on projects and shadowing opportunities within various departments. · Networks with senior leaders to understand key organizational decisions. · Observes organizational dynamics and participates in leadership meetings. Produces results by completing projects and assignments as given. Demonstrates evidence of continuous professional development. · Utilizes supplies and resources efficiently. · Complies with governing body standards and directives. · Performs other duties as assigned. Contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the assigned department. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: · High School Grad or Equiv · For Finance/Accounting – Completion of Intermediate Accounting · Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite applications: Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. · Good customer service, organization, and computer skills needed. Preferred Qualifications: · Bachelor's Degree · For Finance/Accounting - Intermediate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel. · For Marketing/Strategic Planning (Communications rotations) - Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Publisher. · Academic, Professional, Collegiate (Clubs, Student Government etc. · Community (Volunteer) · Prior experience in an organized activity requiring team participation and time management · Prior work experience in a professional environment
