Together, we can build the future of data storage.Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Analysis, conceptualization, and design of AI driven systems targeting manufacturing processes and application error logs.Write the calculations and base codes based on the design and data validationsPrepare documentations and progress reporting and/or dashboards, technical summaries and presentations of findingProvide regular update to the hiring manager on activities or deliverables.Assist in the analysis of engineering and manufacturing data to identify improvement opportunitiesSupport process monitoring and optimizationWork with engineers on tests and technical evaluationsParticipate in problem-solving and root cause analysis activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned projectsThis position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.QualificationsREQUIRED:Currently pursuing a Master's Degree or A Bachelor's Degree in AI and Automation, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalentDemonstrable proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio C#/C++ and other languages such as Python or Java.Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems (e.g., Git).Ability to work with large datasets and technical information - Detail-oriented with a structured and organized approach to tasksAble to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.PREFERRED:Basic knowledge of statistical process control, manufacturing processes, and the use of AI in manufacturing.Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or API development.A comprehensive understanding of industry-standard best practices in business analysis and related fields is highly desirable.Hands-on experience with real engineering and data analysis projects.SKILLS:Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Exceptional ability to produce clear, concise, and professional documentation, including requirements documents, design specifications, test plans, and end-user manuals.Strong communication skills in English, with the capacity to effectively present requirements, designs, test plans, and project status updates to both peers and management.Strong in Full Stack development, React, Tensorflow, Machine Learning, C++/C#, Python or R, Agentic AI, MQ technologies, MSSQL / PLSQL, PostgreSQL.
