Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Control theory and efficiency simulation for SST AC/DC- CHB/MMC simulation with 2-level or 3-level topology. Voltage and current stress comparison, loss and efficiency comparison with SP or SV or other modulation schemes, voltage balance and current sharing control theory simulation under different power cells. Dynamic response simulation with closed loop control. OVP/OCP/Short-circuit protection simulation. DC/DC- LLC/CLLLC/DAB simulation with 2-level or 3-level topology. Frequency modulation/Phase shift/PWM schemes simulation. Loss and efficiency simulation optimization using SR/ZVS/ZCS or some state-of-the-art control schemes. Characteristic comparison and gate drive optimization simulation for power devices including IGBT/SiC/GaN Make comparisons by parameter sweep simulation for IGBT/SiC/GaN under specific application scenario, determine the optimum parameter for each specific application with specific device. Test validation Assist to build the test bench. Make lab test to validate control theory, check whether experiment waveform match the theoretic simulation results, including AC/DC and DC/DC stage topology and control theory listed above. Make lab test to acquire loss and efficiency results. Make lab test to validate protection response time to check protection function. Make double pulse test to acquire loss data for IGBT/SiC/GaN under different drive parameters under the guidance of simulation. Make lab test to compare loss and efficiency with different power devices under specific scenario if possible. Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Power electronics or Electric engineering related disciplines. Understanding power converter topology and control theory for AC/DC and DC/DC. Familiar with Spice-like circuit simulation software. Also with Matlab/Plecs. Experience with PCB software tools for the view of PCB diagram. Proficiency in common test experiments. At least 3 days a week in Xi’an office, or at least one week in Xi’an office every two weeks.
