QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of, or working towards, a degree or Diploma in Library Science, Archival Studies, History, Art/Art History, or other relevant studies.
    Eligibility under the City of London Internship Program as follows (see below):

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in archival conservation an asset
  • Experience in records management an asset
  • Interest in archives, preservation and/or local History
Responsibilities

Under the Direction of the Manager, Corporate Records, the Intern will assist in organizing, classifying, and inventorying the City’s archival records. This will include appropriately handling records and artifacts in varying physical conditions. The intern will gain archival management and records management experience regarding municipal archival records and artifacts.
