Intern - Autonomation Based at Silueta, Biyagama We are seeking a proactive and innovative Intern – Automation to support automation and process innovation initiatives within the organization. The role provides hands-on exposure to mechanical design, automation projects, engineering trials, and continuous improvement activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: * Support mechanical design and simulation activities using CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD. * Assist in automation-related projects, including design, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. * Conduct project trials, experiments, and performance evaluations to support innovation initiatives. * Collect, analyze, and present operational data to support project decision-making and continuous improvement efforts. * Support JIG workshop activities and contribute to JIG and fixture innovation projects. * Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to implement process improvement solutions. Knowledge and Skills: * Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university. * Knowledge of CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD. * Understanding of 3D design, electrical control panels, wiring, commissioning, and troubleshooting. * Ability to conduct experiments, analyze results, and support engineering projects. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills. * Effective communication and teamwork abilities. * Passion for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
