KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Collaborate with engineers to identify opportunities for automation within existing textile machinery. * Involve creating basic 2D or 3D models for modifications that integrate mechanical components with sensors and actuators. * Develop and test mechatronic systems. Work on designing and building jigs and fixtures that combine mechanical elements with electronic controls. * Utilize CAD software, program basic microcontrollers, and collaborate with machinists to fabricate the final parts. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * Final Year Undergraduate in Engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic. * Skills in CAD / CAM, Electrical / Electronic control systems, PLC and microcontroller programming.

Responsibilities

The intern will design and integrate automation solutions for textile machinery, including the creation of 2D/3D models. They will also develop mechatronic systems and build jigs and fixtures combining mechanical elements with electronic controls.
