Job Overview  As an Intern in the Built Environment project, you will report to the Senior Associate, Built Environment, and provide support to the Built Environment team in the areas of member engagement, knowledge and best practice sharing, communication, administrative support and preparation of built environment-related regional and global events. As part of the Built Environment team, your work will contribute to drive systemic change across the entire value chain of the built environment. WBCSD strives to implement the Market Transformation Action Agenda to halve built environment emissions by 2030 and achieve net zero by 2050.  Main Responsibilities * Contribute to project management by assisting with various project tasks. * Provide administrative support by managing project documentation, scheduling meetings, and handling logistics to ensure smooth project operations, including but not limited to monthly / yearly planning cycle, Salesforce updates, project participation and stakeholder list updates, etc. * Help draft materials such as reports, presentations, and communications for both internal and external stakeholders. * Help plan, organize, and coordinate events, such as meetings, workshops, and presentations, providing logistical support, assisting in day-to-day activities as required, including invitation process, social media campaign, briefing and summary notes as required, and liaison with central Events team. * Support engagement with members by helping coordinate communication and outreach efforts, ensuring effective interaction with stakeholders, including publications, website updates, newsletter, social media campaigns, etc., by liaising with different production teams (comms, design, proof-reading, external providers) to deliver on time and with quality. * Execute assigned tasks efficiently, ensuring that work is completed on time and aligns with project goals. * Assist in preparing reports by gathering information, organizing data, and contributing to the creation of well-structured documents. * Conduct research under guidance to support project needs, including literature reviews, data analysis, and summarization of findings.   Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences * Educational background: Currently enrolled in/holding a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field such as communication / sustainability. * Previous internship or volunteer experience in a professional environment is preferred but not required. * Proactive in contributing to team success through offering suggestions, volunteering for assignments, and ensuring effective achievement of goals. * Good at taking proactive action to accomplish goals, identifying opportunities to assist others beyond their own responsibilities. * Good at managing time and resources by handling schedules, prioritizing tasks, and completing them on time with high quality, while staying focused and promptly following up on action items. * Clear and articulate in communication across various situations, adapting style to the listener, building credibility, and actively listening. Demonstrates strong written communication skills with correct grammar and punctuation. * Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, additional languages are an advantage.    The position is fixed-term until the end of this year and is based in Amsterdam.
