Job Description

As an Intern, Business Development and Marketing you will support the following key tasks in collaboration with experience team members.

  • Dual Role Support – Assist Sia Abrasives with sales & business development and Freud Tools with regional marketing initiatives.
  • Sales & Market Analysis – Analyze sales and customer data, conduct market studies, and develop market entry strategies for abrasives products.
  • Reporting & Presentations – Prepare monthly management reports and support senior management meetings with data-driven presentations.
  • Social Media Management – Oversee regional social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Marketing & Trade Events – Collaborate with agencies for brand consistency, support regional dealers’ digital presence, and assist in tradeshow planning.
  • Ad-hoc Support – Handle routine and ad-hoc tasks, including market research and report generation for the regional sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University student of Accounting, Controlling, Business Studies, Engineering Management or related courses in final year of studies
  • Strong analytical skills and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Preferably with previous experiences in consultancy and business strategies
  • Independent, meticulous and flexible
  • Self-motivated and self-starter, with a strong passion for sales and marketing
  • Good team player, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Highly competent knowledge of standard software (esp. MS Excel, MS Powerpoint)
