Job Description Role Work within the Sydney infrastructure team alongside experienced professionals and assist them in various day-to-day tasks Participate in complex financial modeling and highlight key issues for various potential investment opportunities that may be suitable for consideration by CDPQ Collaborate in assessing the valuation of potential investments aligned with CDPQ’s investment strategy, using various methodologies as required (DDM, multiple, etc.) Participate in the drafting of papers and supporting documents that will be presented to CDPQ investment committee Participate in the coordination of due diligence workstreams Prepare internal and external reports (transaction tracking, market highlights, ad hoc presentations) in a timely manner Proactively monitor news and gather information from key sources Produce targeted sectoral studies (portfolio companies or potential markets) Assist in the management of portfolio companies Requirements Prior experience in investment banking, project finance, private equity or consulting Dynamic, curious, rigorous with strong analytical abilities and good interpersonal skills Financially numerate with good Microsoft Office skills as well as Bloomberg and Capital IQ Writing and verbal fluency in English and preferably French Although Australian resident candidates would be preferred, other applicants who already obtained a student pass with the right to work in Sydney for the duration of the internship would be considered Practical information Duration: minimum 6 months, long-term internships preferred Full-time internship Start date: March 2025 Location: Sydney Process Please send your CV and a brief cover letter to Poonam Puri – ppuri@cdpq.com Please input at email subject: Internship - CDPQ Infra Sydney- Name Feeling that my role is important.
