We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Intern – Cloud Solutions and Services. The selected candidate will report to the Consultant – Cloud Solutions and Services.. The Intern – Cloud Solutions and Services will be responsible for: Assisting in maintaining and enhancing cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools and dashboards. Supporting cloud security assessments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments. Conducting configuration reviews to ensure alignment with cloud security best practices and standards such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, and ISO 27001. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate cloud security gaps. Assisting in the preparation of cloud security documentation including security architecture, policies, and procedures. Supporting incident response activities and investigations related to cloud workloads or platforms. Monitoring, triaging, and escalating cloud-based security alerts and vulnerabilities. Staying updated on evolving cloud security threats, technologies, and compliance requirements while contributing to internal knowledge sharing initiatives. Maintaining accurate documentation for assigned tasks and engagements. . The ideal candidate should possess: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Basic understanding of cloud security principles including identity and access management and encryption. Exposure to tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Defender will be an added advantage. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) will be an added advantage. Basic scripting or programming knowledge in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell will be an added advantage. Foundational knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and web technologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
