Description
Intern ‐ Compliance (To be based at Battaramulla) MAS is Sri Lanka’s largest exporter and South Asia’s largest design-to-delivery solution providers in apparel and textile manufacturing. Key Responsibilities * Assist with compliance monitoring activities and support routine audits/assurance testing. * Help maintain Compliance records, registers and documentation. * Conduct research on laws, regulations and support implementation of compliance initiatives. * Assist/prepare draft reports and presentations. * Support the team in coordinating training sessions and awareness programs. * Carry out other compliance related duties as assigned from time to time. Qualifications, Experience, Skill, and Competencies: * Undergraduate or recent graduate in Law, related field or having Risk/ Compliance related qualifications. * Strong analytical and research skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. * Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information. * Proactive attitude and willingness to learn. * Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Responsibilities
The intern will assist with compliance monitoring, routine audits, and the maintenance of compliance records and documentation. They will also conduct research on laws and regulations to support the implementation of compliance initiatives.
