Job Description Assist in the execution of firmware upgrades and the deployment of patches for various security solutions, including Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Imperva, F5, and other critical network devices, ensuring they are up to date and secure Contribute to the creation, updating, and management of technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), configuration guides, and security reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness Participate in quarterly health checks for customers by collecting data, conducting preliminary assessments, and assisting in the preparation of detailed health reports to ensure continued security compliance and system optimization Learn and assist in configuring, testing, and managing critical security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and antivirus solutions, to maintain optimal security performance and protection Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and evolving attack vectors. Provide research-based insights and recommendations to the team to help in proactive defense strategies and mitigation planning Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network, infrastructure, and application teams, to support various security-related projects, gather insights, and ensure that security requirements are integrated into broader IT initiatives Person Specification Currently pursuing or holding an undergraduate degree (or higher) in Cybersecurity or a related field Basic Knowledge of Networking Concepts Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash) is a plus Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

Assist in executing firmware upgrades, deploying security patches, and managing technical documentation for various network security solutions. Participate in customer health checks and help configure and test critical security tools like firewalls and IDS/IPS.
