REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• In-progress bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or another related technical field.
• Basic understanding of statistics and probability.
• Basic understanding of Excel/Google Sheets.
• Hands on familiarity with programming languages and scripting.
• Understanding of presentation software and structure.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Python, JavaScript, SQL scripting.
• Possess an understanding of statistics and probability as applied to modeling data sets.
• Basic machine learning concepts and how to apply them to modeling data sets.
• Familiarity with general business structure and functions.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift equipment, up to 15 lbs. for the setup of demonstration and testing.
• Walking/Moving to different meetings.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in creating and maintaining a data warehouse structure.
• Perform research into modeling techniques for time series problems with sparse data sets.
• Work with the Business Intelligence Manager to develop dashboards and perform maintenance on existing systems.
• Assist with any other tasks that are necessary for the Business Intelligence & Systems Teams.
• Deliver presentations to the Business Intelligence team on knowledge gained.
