Intern - Development (Based at MDS - Rathmalana) MAS Intimates, the largest division of MAS Holdings, provides design and manufacturing solutions for leading global lingerie brands. With design hubs in Hong Kong, London, and Sri Lanka, and manufacturing facilities across Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Kenya, it offers a diverse product portfolio, including bras, briefs, shapewear, performance wear, sleepwear, and wearable tech. Intimates’ customers include Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and Calvin Klein. The division's innovation teams collaborate with universities and experts to deliver consumer-driven, technology-led solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate with the Embellishment, Planning, and Sourcing teams to ensure all styles are prepared and ready for customer approvals. Color Sample Coordination: Manage the coordination of color samples, ensuring accurate representation and timely delivery to meet project timelines. Development Process Support: Provide essential support to the team during the product development process, helping to drive innovation and ensure high-quality outcomes. Cross-Department Coordination: Act as a key liaison between the sample room and business teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives. Report Preparation: Compile and prepare detailed reports to support management decision-making, offering valuable insights based on data and performance metrics KEY REQUIREMENTS Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, SLIM, CIM, Business Management, or a related field, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth. Knowledge in SAP system and ability to support in plant coordination. Prior Garment related experience will be an added advantage. Strong organizational and time management skills, enabling effective prioritization and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across teams. Basic proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manage and analyze data efficiently. Proficient in PowerPoint, with the ability to create compelling presentations that convey ideas clearly and professionally.
Responsibilities
The intern will coordinate with various teams to ensure styles are ready for customer approvals and manage color sample coordination. They will also support the product development process and prepare reports for management decision-making.
