The Opportunity We are currently on the lookout for an Intern – DevOps to join our team. As a DevOps Intern, you will work closely with our experienced DevOps engineers to learn and contribute to building and maintaining modern DevOps practices. Responsibilities: Assisting in implementing and improving CI/CD pipelines Supporting the deployment and automation of cloud-based systems (AWS, GCP) Learning and applying best practices for infrastructure as code and containerization Helping monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues under guidance Participating in team meetings and contributing to Agile delivery processes Documenting processes, configurations, and improvements Exploring AI-driven tools and automation opportunities as part of Sysco’s innovation initiatives Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field A basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (AWS knowledge is a plus) Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes (academic or project experience acceptable) Must possesses a keen interest in automation, scripting, and learning programming languages like Python or Groovy Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team Benefits: An attractive allowance Paid birthday leave Exposure to the corporate culture of a Fortune 100 company An opportunity to work with and learn from industry specialists, and develop professionally in your chosen field Opportunities to network and build lasting professional relationships A progressive culture that promotes work-life harmony and personal development Sysco LABS is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilities
