NH Amsterdam Leidseplein is situated in the south side of the city centre, right in front of Leidseplein which hosts tram stops from multiple directions. The Museum District and famous shopping streets like Leidsestraat and PC Hooftstraat are just a stone’s throw away from the hotel. The city theatre, Vondelpark and some of the nicest cafes and restaurants in Amsterdam can also be found just around the corner. After a busy shift with occupied meeting rooms, group lunches and lots of check-ins, it is time for us to unwind and enjoy a well-deserved drink together at the lively Leidseplein. Our young reception team and the familiar faces of the Food and Beverage team, makes our hotel the greatest place to work.

During this internship you will become familiar with all facets of the hotel industry. First, you will work at all the departments to be trained. After that, you independently fulfil the role of Manager on Duty. You are part of the Management Team and you are the first contact for guests. You assist guests with questions, comments and complaints and, if necessary, you assist at other departments whenever it is needed most. You know the hotel, your colleagues and the guests like no other. As a result, your knowledge and skills in the field of Hotel Management are developed quickly and you will be fully prepared for your career as a Young Professional in the hospitality industry.
