Description

Kulicke & Soffa is seeking a full-time on-site electrical engineering co-op to help develop its next-generation of wire bonders. You will work in a team and meaningfully participate in the design of electronics and controls including: modeling and analysis using MATLAB®, Simulink®, LTspice®, and others; PCBs using Altium Designer®, implementation of real-time software and firmware, cables using Zuken™ E3.cable, preparation of documentation and drawings for production release, and hands-on assembly and troubleshooting in an electronics laboratory environment. K&S electrical engineering covers many areas and co-ops are generally given opportunities to join projects that are of particular interest to them.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design of electronics and controls for next-generation wire bonders. Responsibilities include modeling, PCB design, firmware implementation, and hands-on troubleshooting in a laboratory environment.
