Job Title: Intern, Endpoint Engineering Reports To:  Manager, Systems & Endpoints Salary Grade: NE30 Effective Date: January 2026 Position Summary:  The Intern - Endpoint Engineering will assist the IT team in supporting and maintaining end-user computing systems. This internship provides hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing inventory, and learning about endpoint security and configuration. Service and Support * Creates environment and processes for simple break/fix endpoint replacement to minimize disruption to end users when computing issues arise * Implements and maintains standard desktop, laptop, tablet, phone, ATM and other endpoint systems and devices * Accurately records requests, incidents and resolutions into the help desk ticketing system * Travel to branch locations with team members when necessary for support tasks. * Evaluates tickets for ongoing performance improvement opportunities and reduction of endpoint incidents 2. Endpoints Configuration * Installs, configures and troubleshoots hardware including desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment * Installs, configures and troubleshoots software packages including operating systems, desktop software and custom applications * Manages the endpoint/device equipment inventory 3. Endpoints Security * Manages endpoints’ image, hardening standards and patch deployment * Administers desktop computers, printers, updates and patches * Shadow engineers to learn about endpoint security and patch management.     Education and/or Experience Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Prior coursework or hands-on experience with endpoint systems is preferred. Certificates, Licenses and Registrations (if applicable): None required.
