Intern – Engineering (Based at Silueta - Biyagama) MAS is Sri Lanka’s largest exporter and South Asia’s largest design-to-delivery solution providers in apparel and textile manufacturing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC/HMI programs. Perform firmware development using C, C++, Arduino, and STM platforms. Work with industrial sensors, actuators, and control devices. Design mechanical/mechatronic systems in SOLIDWORKS. Select standard components for assemblies. Support prototyping, assembly, and functional testing. Handle panel wiring and electrical integration. Operate CNC, milling, drilling, and 3D printing processes. Assist in component fabrication and workshop tasks. Participate in PCB design, fabrication, and soldering. Integrate electronic modules into mechanical systems. Coordinate with customers and suppliers for technical clarifications. Assist in project management: documentation, scheduling, and progress tracking. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Undergraduate in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering Good communication skills Project management skills Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools
Responsibilities
