Description
Intern ‐ Engineering Projects Based at Thulhiriya MAS Fabric Park is Sri Lanka's first and only privately owned apparel intensive free trade zone. Its operations focus primarily on the development and value addition of fabrics. The Park spans across a sprawling 110 acres in Thulhiriya and Giriulla, playing a strategic role in the vertical integration of the MAS supply chain as well as leading critical sustainability targets. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join the admin team as an Intern. Key Responsibilities: Operation of MFP Weight Bridge-2 Management of biomass conditioning and chipping operations Maintenance of SLS 1551 documents Collection and evaluation of biomass supplier data Coordination with biomass suppliers as per SLS 1551 requirements Analyze wood samples Knowledge and Skills: Undergraduate in BSc Environmental Conservation Management Excellent organizational skills Excellent communication skills Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations
Responsibilities
The intern will operate the MFP Weight Bridge-2 and manage biomass conditioning and chipping operations. They will also maintain SLS 1551 documents and coordinate with biomass suppliers as per SLS 1551 requirements.
