Job Description About the Role Veolia is seeking a motivated graduate-level intern to support data-driven environmental and water quality projects. This role blends environmental science, engineering analysis, and quantitative modeling, with applications in water treatment, risk assessment, and process optimization. The intern will work closely with technical teams to analyze data, support modeling efforts, and translate complex information into actionable insights. What Your Day Might Look Like Review and organize technical and scientific documents related to water treatment, membrane and Electrodialysis (ED or EDR) processes, and environmental systems Assist with data analysis and quantitative modeling to support environmental decision-making and process evaluation which aligns with Veolia sustainability Develop and refine analytical workflows using statistical and computational tools Support evaluation of environmental and health risks associated with water and treatment processes Qualifications Our Ideal Candidate Graduate student with strong interest in environmental systems, water quality, or applied data analysis Comfortable working with scientific data, models, and technical documentation Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail Able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines Communicates technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats Works well independently and in collaborative settings\ Requirements & Qualifications Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in: (Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a closely related field (PhD students preferred) Experience with quantitative analysis, modeling, or data-driven research Familiarity with programming or analytical tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, or similar) Basic understanding of water and wastewater treatment, environmental processes.
