Description

Aid in Lockout Tagout training. Aid in Accident and Incident investigations Weekly hazardous waste inspection Monthly spill prevention and control plan inspection Where assigned, act as the primary first point of EHS contact for internal customers to ensure expectations are met. Interfaces with and utilizes the Corporate EHS functional management team for resources and expertise, while maintaining local ownership of issues. Aid in Site is proactive in identifying, maintaining and complying with applicable county, federal, state and local regulatory requirements. Aid in day-to-day compliance activities and maintain records to demonstrate compliance. Other duties as assigned by manager. Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field for the entire duration of internship. Junior level status GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred N/A Less than 40%

Responsibilities

The intern will aid in Lockout Tagout training and assist in accident and incident investigations. They will also conduct weekly hazardous waste inspections and monthly spill prevention and control plan inspections.
